Reference 2943

In 1958, Omega enriched the Constellation collection with a date complication with reference 2943 Calendar. Its calibre 504 is the first Constellation movement to integrate a date display, a major innovation for its time. Produced in small series, this timepiece is now one of the rarest and most sought-after of the first-generation Constellation family. The "Pie Pan" dial, characteristic of Constellation production from 1958 to the late 1960s, is today considered one of the manufacture's most successful aesthetic achievements.

Watch serviced in April 2026

Launched in 1952, the Omega Constellation immediately established itself as the first mass-produced chronometer-certified automatic watch. Its name is inspired by the eight stars engraved on the case back, symbolizing the eight chronometric awards won by Omega at the Kew-Teddington and Geneva observatories between 1933 and 1952. This medallion featuring the observatory crowned with stars quickly became one of the brand's most recognizable signatures.
