A unique chronograph from a forgotten brand.

The Gruen Precision 770R chronograph dates from the 1970s. Gruen is an American house founded in 1894 in Ohio. From its early days, Gruen built a reputation for the precision and reliability of its watches. In the early 20th century, it was considered one of the greatest American watchmaking houses.
Unfortunately, it did not survive the quartz crisis and disappeared in the late 1970s.
This model houses the Valjoux 7730 caliber, which traces its origins to the famous Venus 188 caliber (a brand absorbed by Valjoux in 1966).
