Reference 167.005

Produced in 1963, this example features a consistent pitted patina that testifies to a worn life: the dial, originally silver, has turned a warm ivory speckled with brown, the result of natural oxidation under the glass. A sought-after aging that gives this piece an immediately identifiable character. The caliber 551 movement is one of the most accomplished of Omega's production at the time, officially chronometer-certified.

Watch serviced in April 2026

Launched in 1952, the Omega Constellation immediately established itself as the first mass-produced chronometer-certified automatic watch. Its name is inspired by the eight stars engraved on the case back, symbolizing the eight chronometric awards won by Omega at the Kew-Teddington and Geneva observatories between 1933 and 1952. This medallion featuring the observatory crowned with stars quickly became one of the brand's most recognizable signatures.
