Each watch sold comes with a 12-month mechanical warranty from the date of purchase.
Where do you get your watches?
Each watch is sourced from private collectors, antique dealers, or trusted partner sellers.
Can I try on a watch?
Vintage Watch Spirit sells exclusively online. Each watch benefits from photos and videos, and a detailed description to guide your choice with complete peace of mind.
Are vintage watches suitable for all wrists?
Vintage watches feature slimmer and more discreet cases than contemporary watches, typically between 34 and 38 mm, compared to 40 mm and above for modern models. It is precisely this understated elegance that defines their character, but it can be surprising if you are not used to it.
Are the watches sold with box and papers?
Vintage watches have stood the test of time, changed hands, and traveled. It is rare for a piece to come to us with its original box and papers. When this is the case, we clearly state it on the product page. But a watch without documentation is no less authentic: it is often its patina and history that give it its character.

How is my watch packaged?
Your watch is carefully placed in a Vintage Watch Spirit case, then shipped in neutral, discreet packaging to ensure its safety during transport
Do you deliver internationally?
Yes, we ship our watches worldwide via UPS or DHL. Each shipment is tracked, insured, and carefully packaged. Delivery times vary by destination: generally allow 2 to 5 business days for Europe, and 3 to 7 days for the rest of the world.
Do I have to pay customs or import duties?
- For orders delivered within the European Union, VAT is included in the displayed price. No additional fees will be charged upon delivery.
The countries concerned are: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.
- For deliveries outside the European Union, import taxes or customs duties may apply depending on the legislation of your country. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend consulting the official customs authorities of your country before placing an order.
What should I do if my package is lost or damaged upon receipt?
If you notice any damage or problem that occurred during transport, please report it to us within 3 working days of receipt, by sending us:
- A precise description of the problem found.
- Photos of the packaging and the damaged watch.

When is the watch shipped?
The watch is shipped within 2 business days maximum.
Is my watch insured during transit?
The watch is insured for its value.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is free only in Europe. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout for other countries.

How do I place an order on your website?
Ordering is simple: choose your watch, add it to your cart, and follow the steps through to secure payment.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
I would like to return a watch. How do I do that?
You have 14 days from receipt to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to justify your decision.
Contact us by email and we will provide you with the information to proceed with the return.
Vintage Watch Spirit will send you a return label, the cost of which will be deducted from your refund.

When do I get the refund?
Once the watch has been received and checked, the refund will be processed within a maximum of 14 days.
Am I responsible for the return shipping costs?
Return costs remain your responsibility in the context of a standard right of withdrawal. However, if the watch received does not match its description or if a problem is found on our end, we will cover the return costs in full.

When should you have your watch serviced?
We recommend having your mechanical or automatic watch serviced approximately every 5 years to preserve its accuracy and lifespan. Over time, lubricating oils dry out and the movement's micro-parts wear down. If your watch loses time, stops for no reason, or seems difficult to wind, these are often signs that a service is needed.
Can my watch be worn every day?
Yes, absolutely! A vintage watch is meant to be worn. Just be sure to avoid knocks, water, and prolonged exposure to the sun to ensure its longevity.
How do I wind and set my watch?
- To wind your watch, you must turn the crown clockwise until you feel slight resistance.
- To set the time, gently pull out the crown and then turn the hands to the desired time. Once set, push the crown back to its initial position.
In case of difficulty or unusual resistance, do not force it, entrust it to a watchmaker or contact us.

What is the difference between a mechanical and an automatic watch?
A mechanical watch is hand-wound by turning the crown, while an automatic watch self-winds thanks to the natural movements of your wrist. Both are mechanical watches — without batteries.
Where should I store my vintage watch?
Store your watch in a dry place away from heat.
