H.Moser & Cie. Small Seconds 1960's

Born in 1805 into a family of Swiss watchmakers, Heinrich Moser founded H. Moser & Cie in 1828 in Saint Petersburg, before establishing a manufacture in Le Locle, Switzerland, in 1829 to ensure the production of watches distributed across Europe and Russia. In 1848, he returned to Schaffhausen, his hometown, where he became a leading industrial player, even commissioning the construction of a dam on the Rhine in 1864. Today, vintage watches from this manufacture are rare finds, and even rarer in such a preserved condition. Here is a model from the 1960s, preserved in exceptional condition.

• Small seconds at 6 o'clock on a finely guillochéd sub-dial
