In the 1930s and 1940s, Italian collectors nicknamed a family of Longines watches "Sei Tacche" (six notches) due to their recognizable screw-down case back with six notches, an innovative waterproof design for its time. This reference dates from 1945. The two-tone (bullseye) dial of this example, with a copper-colored center encircled in black, is particularly sought after for this type of timepiece.
