During World War II, Sweden remained neutral but had to finance its economy without resorting to taxes or conventional war bonds. The Swedish government then found an original solution: it commissioned a watch from the Swiss manufacturer Omega, sold exclusively and in limited quantities to the Swedish public, to partly finance the country's economy. Its name is not insignificant: "Suverän" refers to Sweden's status, which remained sovereign and neutral during the conflict.
This exclusive and limited production explains its rarity today: only a restricted quantity of Suverän watches remains, and many have restored dials or are in degraded condition. A well-preserved example, with its original dial and case, is therefore a rare piece - it is this combination of a unique history and proven rarity that justifies its position in the vintage market.

Avoid all contact with water as well as exposure to dust, sand, or excessive humidity, to preserve the proper functioning of the mechanism.
Any water or dust infiltration can damage the watch and is not covered by the warranty.
